She heard the Prophet ﷺ say, "Whoever drinks wine, Allah will not be pleased with him for forty nights. If he dies during that time, he dies as a disbeliever. If he repents, Allah will accept his repentance. If he returns to it, it becomes binding upon Allah to give him to drink from the mud of khabal."She said, I asked, "Messenger of Allah, what is the mud of khabal?"He replied, "The pus of the people of the Fire."
حدثنا داود بن مهران الدباغ حدثنا داود يعني العطار عن ابن خثيم عن شهر بن حوشب
أنها سمعت النبي ﷺ يقول من شرب الخمر لم يرض الله عنه أربعين ليلة فإن مات مات كافرا وإن تاب تاب الله عليه وإن عاد كان حقا على الله أن يسقيه من طينة الخبال قالت قلت يا رسول الله وما طينة الخبال قال صديد أهل النار
