Asma bint Yazid reported,

She claimed that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed through the mosque one day while a group of women were sitting there. He gestured to them in greeting with his hand and said, "Beware of being ungrateful to your benefactors. Beware of being ungrateful to your benefactors."One of them said, "Messenger of Allah, I seek refuge in Allah, Prophet of Allah, from being ungrateful to Allah."He replied, "Indeed, one of you remains unmarried for a long time and her spinsterhood stretches on, then Allah grants her a husband and blesses her with a child and delight of the eye. Then she becomes angry over some matter and swears by Allah that she has never seen a single hour of good from him. That is among the ways of being ungrateful for the blessings of Allah , and that is among the ways of being ungrateful to one's benefactors."

تحدث زعمت أن رسول الله ﷺ مر في المسجد يوما وعصبة من النساء قعود فألوى بيده إليهن بالسلام قال إياكن وكفران المنعمين إياكن وكفران المنعمين قالت إحداهن يا رسول الله أعوذ بالله يا نبي الله من كفران الله قال بلى إن إحداكن تطول أيمتها ويطول تعنيسها ثم يزوجها الله البعل ويفيدها الولد وقرة العين ثم تغضب الغضبة فتقسم بالله ما رأت منه ساعة خير قط فذلك من كفران نعم الله عز وجل وذلك من كفران المنعمين
