Fatimah bint Qays reported,

Her husband had divorced her three times, so she came to the Prophet ﷺ complaining to him, but he did not grant her any lodging or maintenance.Umar bin Khattab said, "We will not abandon the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Prophet ﷺ for the word of a woman who may have forgotten."Amir said, "She also told me that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded her to observe her waiting period in the house of Ibn Umm Maktum."

عن فاطمة بنت قيس

أن زوجها طلقها ثلاثا فأتت النبي ﷺ تشكو إليه فلم يجعل لها سكنى ولا نفقة قال عمر بن الخطاب لا ندع كتاب الله عز وجل وسنة نبيه ﷺ لقول امرأة لعلها نسيت قال قال عامر وحدثتني أن رسول الله ﷺ أمرها أن تعتد في بيت ابن أم مكتوم
