Whenever the Messenger of Allah ﷺ intended to set out on a journey, he would say, "O Allah, You are the Companion on the journey and the Guardian over the family. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from hardship on the journey and from a gloomy return. O Allah, fold up the earth for us and make the journey easy upon us."

كان رسول الله ﷺ إذا أراد أن يخرج في سفر قال اللهم أنت الصاحب في السفر والخليفة في الأهل اللهم إني أعوذ بك من الضبنة في السفر والكآبة في المنقلب اللهم اقبض لنا الأرض وهون علينا السفر
