While the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was in the house of one of his wives, he laid down his head and fell asleep, then laughed in his sleep. When he woke, one of his wives said to him, "You laughed in your sleep. What made you laugh?"He replied, "I marveled at people from my nation who will ride upon this sea, fierce as the enemy, striving in the path of Allah." Then he mentioned much good concerning them.
حدثنا إسحاق حدثني محمد بن ثابت العبدي عن جبلة بن عطية عن إسحاق بن عبد الله بن الحارث
بينا رسول الله ﷺ في بيت بعض نسائه إذ وضع رأسه فنام فضحك في منامه فلما استيقظ قالت له امرأة من نسائه لقد ضحكت في منامك فما أضحكك قال أعجب من ناس من أمتي يركبون هذا البحر هول العدو يجاهدون في سبيل الله فذكر لهم خيرا كثيرا
