The Prophet ﷺ said, "Hospitality is for three days, and the special courtesy is for one day and one night. It is not lawful for anyone to stay with his brother so long that he causes him to fall into sin."They asked, "Messenger of Allah, how would he cause him to fall into sin?"He replied, "He stays with him while his host has nothing left with which to feed him."

عن النبي ﷺ قال الضيافة ثلاث وجائزته يوم وليلة ولا يحل لأحد أن يقيم عند أخيه حتى يؤثمه قالوا يا رسول الله ما يؤثمه قال يقيم عنده ولا يجد شيئا يقوته
