The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The best mosques for women are the innermost parts of their homes."
حدثنا يحيى بن غيلان قال حدثنا رشدين حدثني عمرو عن أبي السمح عن السائب مولى أم سلمة
عن رسول الله ﷺ أنه قال خير مساجد النساء قعر بيوتهن
Its chain of transmission is hasan. Darraj bin Saman Abu Samh and everyone above him have some criticism made of them, and there is also some question about whether some of them actually heard from one another, as Ibn Khuzayma said. As for Saaib, the freedman of Umm Salama, Ibn Hibban rated him trustworthy and named him Saaib bin Abdullah.The hadith was narrated by Ibn Khuzayma 3/92, no. 1683, though he expressed doubt about the soundness of the report. It was also narrated by Abu Yaala 12/454, no. 7025, and by Hakim 1/209, where both he and Dhahabi remained silent about it, and by Bayhaqi 3/131.
