Ayesha reported,

She used to comb the hair of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while she was menstruating, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was in spiritual retreat in the mosque. He would lean toward the threshold of Ayesha's door, and she would wash his head while remaining inside her room.

حدثنا يعقوب قال أخبرنا ابن أخي ابن شهاب عن عمه قال أخبرني عروة

عن عائشة أنها قالت

إنها كانت ترجل رسول الله ﷺ وهي طامث ورسول الله ﷺ عاكف في المسجد فيتكئ إلى أسكفة باب عائشة فتغسل رأسه وهي في حجرتها
