Abdullah bin Abbas reported,

A man asked, "How much water is enough for me for ablution?"He replied, "A mudd."The man asked, "How much is enough for me for the full bath?"He replied, "A saa."The man said, "That is not enough for me."He responded, "May you have no mother! It was enough for one who is better than you, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ."

عن ابن عباس قال

قال رجل كم يكفيني من الوضوء قال مد قال كم يكفيني للغسل قال صاع فقال الرجل لا يكفيني قال لا أم لك قد كفى من هو خير منك رسول الله ﷺ
