Ayesha reported,

She was obligated to free a slave from the descendants of Ismail. Some captives arrived from Yemen, from the tribe of Khawlan, and she intended to free one of them, but the Prophet ﷺ forbade me from doing so. Then captives arrived from Mudar, from Banu al-Anbar, and the Prophet ﷺ instructed her to free one from among them.

أنها كان عليها رقبة من ولد إسماعيل فجاء سبي من اليمن من خولان فأرادت أن تعتق منهم فنهاني النبي ﷺ ثم جاء سبي من مضر من بني العنبر فأمرها النبي ﷺ أن تعتق منهم
