Word reached Ayesha that some people were saying that a dog, a donkey, or a woman passing by invalidates the prayer.Ayesha said, "You have put us on a level with dogs and donkeys! I have seen the Messenger of Allah ﷺ praying facing the bed while I lay upon it, between him and the qibla. When I needed something, I would slip out from the foot of the bed, because I disliked passing in front of him."
حدثنا يحيى بن آدم حدثنا قطبة فذكرهما جميعا وقال رجلي السرير
Its isnad is sahih, and it is like the one before it. Qutbah is Ibn Abdul-Aziz bin Siyah. He is trustworthy, and his hadith appears in Muslim. Here he narrates it from Amash, as is well known, but he shortened the chain since it was already known.
