It reached her that some people were saying that a dog, a donkey, and a woman cut off the prayer if they passed in front of someone praying.Ayesha said, "You have likened us to dogs and donkeys! I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ praying while I was lying on the bed between him and the qiblah. When I had a need, I would slip away from the foot of the bed, disliking to face him directly."

بلغها أن ناسا يقولون يقطع الصلاة الكلب والحمار والمرأة فقالت عائشة عدلتمونا بالكلاب والحمير لقد رأيت رسول الله ﷺ يصلي مقابل السرير وأنا عليه بينه وبين القبلة فتكون لي الحاجة فأنسل من قبل رجل السرير كراهية أن أستقبله
