I asked Ayesha about the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. She said, "He used to prolong his prayer, both standing and sitting. When he prayed standing, he would bow from a standing position, and when he prayed sitting, he would bow from a sitting position."I also asked her about the fasting of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. She said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would fast until we said, 'He has fasted, he has fasted, he has fasted,' and he would break his fast until we said, 'He has broken his fast, he has broken his fast, he has broken his fast.' He did not fast a complete month from the time he came to Medina, except for the month of Ramadan."

سألت عائشة عن صلاة رسول الله ﷺ قالت كان يطيل الصلاة قائما وقاعدا وكان إذا صلى قائما ركع قائما وإذا صلى قاعدا ركع قاعدا وسألتها عن صيام رسول الله ﷺ فقالت كان رسول الله ﷺ يصوم حتى نقول قد صام قد صام قد صام ويفطر حتى نقول قد أفطر قد أفطر قد أفطر ولم يصم شهرا تاما منذ أتى المدينة إلا أن يكون شهر رمضان
