I asked Ayesha, Umm Muiminin, what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite in his witr prayer.She replied, "In the first rakah he would recite 'Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High' [Ala 87:1], in the second 'Say, O disbelievers' [Kafirun 109:1], and in the third 'Say, He is Allah, the One' [Ikhlas 112:1] along with the two surahs of refuge."
