The Prophet ﷺ went out to relieve himself, and after he had done so, food was brought near to him. They asked, "Shall we bring you water for ablution?"He replied, "For what should I perform ablution? Am I about to pray that I should perform ablution? Have I prayed that I should perform ablution?"
حدثنا عبد الرزاق قال أخبرنا سفيان عن عمرو بن دينار عن سعيد بن الحويرث
ذهب النبي ﷺ للبراز فقضى حاجته ثم قرب له طعام فقالوا أنأتيك بوضوء فقال من أي شيء أتوضأ أصلي فأتوضأ أوصليت فأتوضأ
