Some of the meat given to Barirah as charity was brought to the Prophet ﷺ, and it was said, "This is from the charity meat."He replied, "It is charity for her, but a gift for us."
حدثنا أبو كامل حدثنا حماد عن حميد عن عبد الله بن أبي عتبة
أنه تصدق على بريرة من لحم الصدقة فذهب به إلى النبي ﷺ وقيل إنه من لحم الصدقة قال إنما هو لها صدقة ولنا هدية
Its chain of transmission is sahih. Hammad is Ibn Salama, Humayd is al-Tawil, and Abdullah bin Abu Utbah is trustworthy, his hadith appears in Muslim, and the hadith has already preceded at 24800.
