Ayesha reported,

Aisha reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ mentioned Khadijah, so I said, "Allah has compensated you with someone better than that old woman." Affan's version says, "an old woman among the old women of Quraysh, among the women of Quraysh, with reddened gums, who passed away long ago."She said, "His face changed in a way I had only ever seen when revelation was descending upon him, or when clouds appeared and he watched to see whether they would bring mercy or punishment."

أن رسول الله ﷺ ذكر خديجة فقلت لقد أعقبك الله عز وجل من امرأة قال عفان من عجوزة من عجائز قريش من نساء قريش حمراء الشدقين هلكت في الدهر قالت فتمعر وجهه تمعرا ما كنت أراه إلا عند نزول الوحي أو عند المخيلة حتى ينظر أرحمة أم عذاب
