The household of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had a small wild animal as a pet. Whenever the Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out, it would become lively and playful, running back and forth. But when it sensed that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had returned, it would lie still and not stir, out of dislike to disturb him.
