Ayesha reported,

We set out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in three groups. Some of us entered the state of consecration intending both Hajj and Umrah together, some intending Hajj alone, and some intending Umrah only.Whoever entered consecration for Hajj and Umrah together did not come out of any of the restrictions Allah had placed upon him until he completed his Hajj.Whoever entered consecration for Umrah, then circumambulated the Kaaba, walked between Safa and Marwa, and shortened his hair, came out of the restrictions until he would begin the Hajj.

حدثنا يزيد بن هارون قال أخبرنا محمد بن عمرو عن يحيى بن عبد الرحمن بن حاطب قال كانت

عائشة تقول

خرجنا مع رسول الله ﷺ ثلاثة أنواع فمنا من أهل بحج وعمرة ومنا من أهل بحج مفرد ومنا من أهل بعمرة فمن كان أهل بحج وعمرة معا لم يحل من شيء مما حرم الله عز وجل عليه حتى يقضي حجه ومن أهل بعمرة ثم طاف بالبيت وسعى بين الصفا والمروة وقصر أحل مما حرم منه حتى يستقبل حجا
