Umm Habiba bint Jahsh suffered from prolonged bleeding for seven years. She was the wife of Abdul-Rahman bin Awf, and she asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about it.The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "This is only a vein bleeding, not menstruation. So perform a full bath and pray."The narrator said, "She used to perform a full bath before every prayer."
حدثنا يزيد قال أخبرنا ابن أبي ذئب عن الزهري عن عروة وعمرة بنت عبد الرحمن
أن أم حبيبة بنت جحش استحيضت سبع سنين وكانت امرأة عبد الرحمن بن عوف فسألت رسول الله ﷺ عن ذلك فقال رسول الله ﷺ إنما هذا عرق وليست بحيضة فاغتسلي وصلي قال فكانت تغتسل عند كل صلاة
