A sheep was gifted to Hafsah while the two of us were fasting, and she broke my fast with it. She was truly her father's daughter. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came in to us, we mentioned that to him, and he said, "Make up a day in its place."
حدثنا يزيد قال أخبرنا سفيان يعني ابن حسين عن الزهري عن عروة
أهديت لحفصة شاة ونحن صائمتان ففطرتني فكانت ابنة أبيها فلما دخل علينا رسول الله ﷺ ذكرنا ذلك له فقال أبدلا يوما مكانه
