The Messenger of Allah ﷺ never cursed a Muslim with any curse worth mentioning, nor did he ever take revenge for himself for anything done to him, unless the sacred limits of Allah were violated. He never struck anything with his hand, except when fighting in the cause of Allah. He was never asked for anything and refused it, unless what was being asked involved sin, for he was the furthest of people from sin. He was never given a choice between two matters except that he chose the easier of them. When he had recently met with Jibreel
and studied with him, he was more generous with goodness than the sweeping wind.

ما لعن رسول الله ﷺ مسلما من لعنة تذكر ولا انتقم لنفسه شيئا يؤتى إليه إلا أن تنتهك حرمات الله عز وجل ولا ضرب بيده شيئا قط إلا أن يضرب بها في سبيل الله ولا سئل شيئا قط فمنعه إلا أن يسأل مأثما فإنه كان أبعد الناس منه ولا خير بين أمرين قط إلا اختار أيسرهما وكان إذا كان حديث عهد بجبريل عليه السلام يدارسه كان أجود بالخير من الريح المرسلة
