I asked Ayesha, "Did the Prophet ﷺ perform the witr prayer at the beginning of the night or at the end of it?"She replied, "He used to do all of that. Sometimes he prayed witr at the beginning of the night, and sometimes at the end."I said, "Praise be to Allah who has made the matter accommodating."I then asked, "How was his recitation? Did he recite quietly or aloud?"She said, "He used to do all of that. Sometimes he recited quietly, and sometimes aloud."I said, "Praise be to Allah who has made the matter accommodating."I asked, "How did he handle ritual impurity? Would he bathe before sleeping, or sleep before bathing?"She replied, "He used to do all of that. Sometimes he would bathe and then sleep, and sometimes he would perform ablution and sleep."I said, "Praise be to Allah who has made the matter accommodating."
