Shurayh bin Hani reported,

I asked Ayesha, "Did the Prophet ﷺ ever go out to the desert?"She replied, "Yes, he used to go out to these hills. Once he wanted to go into the desert, so he sent for some camels from the charity herd, gave me a sturdy she-camel from them, and said to me, 'Ayesha, hold fast to the fear of Allah and to gentleness, for gentleness is never present in anything without adorning it, nor is it ever removed from anything without disgracing it.'"

قلت لعائشة هل كان النبي ﷺ يبدو قالت نعم كان يبدو إلى هذه التلاع فأراد البداوة مرة فأرسل إلى نعم من إبل الصدقة فأعطاني منها ناقة محزمة ثم قال لي يا عائشة عليك بتقوى الله عز وجل والرفق فإن الرفق لم يك في شيء قط إلا زانه ولم ينزع من شيء قط إلا شانه
