Someone asked Ayesha about the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.She replied, "There was no prayer he was more inclined to delay, whenever he was engaged in conversation, than the final night prayer. And he never prayed it and then came in to me without praying four or six more after it. I never once saw him place anything between himself and the ground, except that I recall one rainy day we spread a woolen cloth beneath him, and I can still picture a tear in it with water seeping through."
