Ayesha reported,

A group of bedouins from the desert arrived during the time of the sacrifice, so the Prophet ﷺ said, "Eat and store the meat for three days."Sometime later, people said, "Messenger of Allah, people used to benefit from their sacrifices. They would render fat from them and make waterskins from their hides."He asked, "What about that?"They replied, "The thing you forbade, keeping the meat of the sacrifices."He said, "I only forbade it because of the group that had arrived. So now eat, give in charity, and store it."

حدثنا يحيى عن مالك قال حدثني عبد الله بن أبي بكر عن عمرة

عن عائشة قال

دفت دافة من أهل البادية حضرة الأضحى فقال النبي ﷺ كلوا وادخروا لثلاث فلما كان بعد ذلك قالوا يا رسول الله كان الناس ينتفعون من أضاحيهم يحملون منها الودك ويتخذون منها الأسقية قال وما ذاك قالوا الذي نهيت عنه من إمساك لحوم الأضاحي قال إنما نهيت عنه للدافة التي دافت فكلوا وتصدقوا وادخروا
