Fatimah bint Abu Hubaysh came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "I am experiencing continuous bleeding."He said, "Leave the prayer during the days of your menstruation, then perform a full bath, and perform ablution before every prayer, even if the blood drips onto the mat."
حدثنا علي بن هاشم حدثنا الأعمش عن حبيب عن عروة
أتت فاطمة بنت أبي حبيش النبي ﷺ فقالت إني استحضت فقال دعي الصلاة أيام حيضك ثم اغتسلي وتوضئي عند كل صلاة وإن قطر على الحصير
Its chain of transmission is sahih. Habib bin Abu Thabit is trustworthy and a jurist, and his hadith is found in the collections of the group. This hadith was narrated by Bukhari 1/330 no. 227 in wudu, Muslim 1/262 no. 333 in menstruation, Abu Dawud 1/72 no. 280, and Tirmidhi 1/217 no. 125, who said, hasan sahih, both in purification.
