Aflah bin Abu Quays came seeking permission to enter upon me after the verse of the veil had been revealed. He was the brother of the man whose milk Ayesha had been nursed with. When he came asking permission to enter, I refused to let him in.When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came in, I told him about it.He said, "Allow him to enter, for he is your uncle."I said, "It was the woman who nursed me, not the man."He replied, "May your hands be dusty, he is your uncle."

جاءني أفلح بن أبي القعيس يستأذن علي بعدما ضرب الحجاب والذي أرضعت عائشة من لبنه هو أخوه فجاء يستأذن علي فأبيت أن آذن له فدخل علي رسول الله ﷺ فقال ائذني له فإنما هو عمك قلت إنما أرضعتني المرأة ولم يرضعني الرجل قال تربت يمينك هو عمك
