We set out with Ali when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ dispatched him with his banner. When he drew near the fortress, its people came out to confront him, and he fought them. A Jewish man struck him a blow that knocked the shield from his hand, so Ali took hold of a door that was at the fortress and shielded himself with it. It remained in his hand as he fought until Allah granted him victory, then he cast it aside when he was finished.I saw myself afterward among a group of seven, with me as the eighth, straining to turn that door over, but we could not turn it.

خرجنا مع علي حين بعثه رسول الله برايته فلما دنا من الحصن خرج إليه أهله فقاتلهم فضربه رجل من يهود فطرح ترسه من يده فتناول علي بابا كان عند الحصن فترس به نفسه فلم يزل في يده وهو يقاتل حتى فتح الله عليه ثم ألقاه من يده حين فرغ فلقد رأيتني في نفر معي سبعة أنا ثامنهم نجهد على أن نقلب ذلك الباب فما نقلبه

Its isnad is daif, due to the anonymity of the narrator from Abu Rafi. Haythami said likewise (5/200). As for Abdullah bin Hasan, he is Ibn Hasan bin Ali bin Abu Talib, and he is trustworthy, his hadith being found among the four (Sunan compilers).
