Abu Rafi reported,

A roasted sheep was prepared for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. When it was brought to him, he said to me, "Abu Rafi, hand me the foreleg."So I handed it to him.Then he said, "Abu Rafi, hand me the foreleg."I handed it to him.Then he said again, "Abu Rafi, hand me the foreleg."I said, "Messenger of Allah, does a sheep have more than two forelegs?"He replied, "Had you remained silent, you would have kept handing me forelegs as long as I asked for them."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was particularly fond of the foreleg.

حدثنا مؤمل حدثنا حماد حدثني عبد الرحمن بن رافع عن عمته

عن أبي رافع قال

صنع لرسول الله ﷺ شاة مصلية فأتي بها فقال لي يا أبا رافع ناولني الذراع فناولته فقال يا أبا رافع ناولني الذراع فناولته ثم قال يا أبا رافع ناولني الذراع فقلت يا رسول الله وهل للشاة إلا ذراعان فقال لو سكت لناولتني منها ما دعوت به قال وكان رسول الله ﷺ يعجبه الذراع
