Abdullah bin Salam reported,

I said, while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was sitting, "We find in the Book of Allah that on Friday there is an hour during which no Muslim servant happens to be praying and asks Allah for something without being granted what he asked for."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gestured with his hand, indicating that it is only a brief portion of an hour. So I said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ has spoken the truth."Abu Nadr reported that Abu Salama said, "I asked him, 'Which hour is it?'"He replied, "It is the last of the daylight hours."I said, "But that is not a time of prayer."He answered, "Indeed it is. When a Muslim servant prays and then remains seated in his place of prayer, with nothing keeping him there except waiting for the next prayer, he is considered to be in prayer."

حدثنا عبد الله بن الحارث حدثني الضحاك عن أبي النضر عن أبي سلمة بن عبد الرحمن

عن عبد الله بن سلام قال

قلت ورسول الله ﷺ جالس إنا نجد في كتاب الله في يوم الجمعة ساعة لا يوافقها عبد مسلم وهو في الصلاة فيسأل الله عز وجل شيئا إلا أعطاه ما سأله فأشار رسول الله ﷺ يقول بعض ساعة قال فقلت صدق رسول الله ﷺ قال أبو النضر قال أبو سلمة سألته أية ساعة هي قال آخر ساعات النهار فقلت إنها ليست بساعة صلاة فقال بلى إن العبد المسلم في صلاته إذا صلى ثم قعد في مصلاه لا يحبسه إلا انتظار الصلاة
