Abdullah bin Salam reported,
The area between Kada and Uhud is sacred. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ declared it sacred. I would not cut down a tree there, nor would I kill a bird there.

Its chain is daif due to the obscurity of Ubaydullah bin Khunays. This hadith has already appeared as sahih with more sahih wordings, because they objected to the wording "Kadaa" and said Kadaa is in Makkah and not in Madinah. See the hadith at
