One of the polytheists said mockingly, "I see your companion teaches you everything, even how to relieve yourselves."Salman replied, "Indeed. He has commanded us not to face the qiblah while doing so, not to clean ourselves with our right hands, and not to be content with fewer than three stones, none of which may be dung or bone."

قال بعض المشركين وهم يستهزئون به إني لأرى صاحبكم يعلمكم حتى الخراءة قال سلمان أجل أمرنا أن لا نستقبل القبلة ولا نستنجي بأيماننا ولا نكتفي بدون ثلاثة أحجار ليس فيها رجيع ولا عظم
Its isnad is sahih. Ibrahim is Ibn Yazid Nakhai, a well-known trustworthy narrator, whose hadith is found in the collections of all the major compilers. Abdul-Rahman bin Yazid is also Ibn Qays Nakhai, a trustworthy narrator among the Followers, and his hadith is likewise found in the collections of all the major compilers.The hadith was narrated by Muslim, 1/223, no. 262, in the Book of Faith, Abu Dawud, 1/3, no. 7, in the Book of Purification, and Tirmidhi, 1/24, no. 16, who said, hasan sahih. It was also narrated by Nasai, 1/38, no. 41, and 1/44, no. 49, Ibn Majah, 1/115, no. 316, and Ibn Khuzayma, 1/41, no. 74, all of them in the Book of Purification.
