I entered upon Mukhtar, and he tossed a cushion down for me and said, "Were it not that my brother Jibreel just rose from this cushion, I would have tossed it for you."I wanted to strike off his neck, but I recalled a hadith that my brother Amr bin Hamiq narrated to me. He said, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Any believer who grants another believer safety regarding his life and then kills him, I am free of the killer."
