A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "Give me advice, and keep it brief."He replied, "When you stand for your prayer, pray as one bidding farewell. Do not speak any word for which you will have to apologize tomorrow. And give up hope for what is in the hands of others."

جاء رجل إلى النبي ﷺ فقال عظني وأوجز فقال إذا قمت في صلاتك فصل صلاة مودع ولا تكلم بكلام تعتذر منه غدا واجمع الإياس مما في يدي الناس
