My mother said to me, "When did you last visit the Prophet ﷺ?"I replied, "I have not visited him for such and such a time."She rebuked me, so I said, "Mother, let me go to the Prophet ﷺ, and I will not leave him until he asks forgiveness for me and for you."I went to him and prayed Maghrib with him. When he finished the prayer, he stood up and continued praying until he prayed Isha, then he left.
حدثنا زيد بن الحباب أخبرنا إسرائيل أخبرني ميسرة بن حبيب عن المنهال عن زر بن حبيش
قالت لي أمي متى عهدك بالنبي ﷺ قال فقلت ما لي به عهد منذ كذا وكذا قال فهمت بي قلت يا أمه دعيني حتى أذهب إلى النبي ﷺ فلا أدعه حتى يستغفر لي ويستغفر لك قال فجئته فصليت معه المغرب فلما قضى الصلاة قام يصلي فلم يزل يصلي حتى صلى العشاء ثم خرج
