Hudhayfah said, "By Allah, the tribe of Mudar will not leave a single believing servant of Allah without persecuting him, killing him, or being struck down by Allah, the angels, and the believers, until they cannot defend even the tail-end of a small valley."A man said to him, "Do you say this, Abdullah, when you yourself are a man from Mudar?"He replied, "I say only what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said."
حدثنا ابن نمير حدثنا الأعمش عن عبد الرحمن بن ثروان
قال حذيفة والله لا تدع مضر عبدا لله مؤمنا إلا فتنوه أو قتلوه أو يضربهم الله والملائكة والمؤمنون حتى لا يمنعوا ذنب تلعة فقال له رجل أتقول هذا يا عبد الله وأنت رجل من مضر قال لا أقول إلا ما قال رسول الله ﷺ

Its isnad is sahih. Abdul-Rahman bin Tharwan is trustworthy, his hadith appears in Bukhari. Amr bin Hanzala was deemed trustworthy by Ibn Hibban, while Abu Hatim was silent about him. The hadith has previously appeared at 23209.
