A man reported,

The Prophet ﷺ led the dawn prayer and recited Surah ar-Rum in it, but he became confused in his recitation. He said, "What is troubling me?"Shuba said, then he mentioned the patches, and the meaning of his statement, "You do not perform ablution thoroughly."

حدثنا محمد بن جعفر حدثنا شعبة عن عبد الملك بن عمير قال سمعت شبيبا أبا روح يحدث

عن رجل من أصحاب النبي ﷺ

عن النبي ﷺ أنه صلى الصبح فقرأ فيها بالروم فأوهم فيها فقال وما يمنعني قال شعبة فذكر الرقع ومعنى قوله إنكم لستم بمتنظفين
