He used to perform the Hajj with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. From a man among the companions of the Prophet ﷺ, Hajjaj said, "I think it was Abdullah," from the Prophet ﷺ that he said, "The intensity of heat is from the blast of Hell, so when the heat becomes intense, delay the prayer until it cools down."
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر حدثنا شعبة قال سمعت
وكان يحج مع رسول الله ﷺ عن رجل من أصحاب النبي ﷺ قال حجاج أراه عبد الله عن النبي ﷺ أنه قال إن شدة الحر من فيح جهنم فإذا اشتد الحر فأبردوا عن الصلاة
