The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent Ali to Khalid bin Walid to distribute the fifth, and Mura once said, to receive the fifth. In the morning Ali's head was dripping with water.Khalid said to Burayda, "Do you not see what this man is doing?" referring to what Ali had done. Burayda said, "I used to dislike Ali."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked, "Burayda, do you dislike Ali?"I said, "Yes."He said, "Do not dislike him." Mura once said, "Love him, for he is entitled to even more than that from the fifth."
حدثنا روح حدثنا علي بن سويد بن منجوف
بعث رسول الله ﷺ عليا إلى خالد بن الوليد ليقسم الخمس وقال روح مرة ليقبض الخمس قال فأصبح علي ورأسه يقطر قال فقال خالد لبريدة ألا ترى إلى ما يصنع هذا لما صنع علي قال وكنت أبغض عليا قال فقال يا بريدة أتبغض عليا قال قلت نعم قال فلا تبغضه قال روح مرة فأحبه فإن له في الخمس أكثر من ذلك
