The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered the mosque and took me by the hand, so I went in with him. There was a man reciting and praying, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "This man has been given one of the flutes of the family of Dawud." It turned out to be Abdullah bin Qays, Abu Musa Ashari.I said, "Messenger of Allah, shall I tell him?"He said, "Tell him."So I informed him, and he said to me, "You will always remain a friend of mine."

أن رسول الله ﷺ دخل المسجد فأخذ بيدي فدخلت معه فإذا رجل يقرأ ويصلي قال لقد أوتي هذا مزمارا من مزامير آل داود وإذا هو عبد الله بن قيس أبو موسى الأشعري قال قلت يا رسول الله فأخبره قال فأخبرته فقال لم تزل لي صديقا
