Ati of Azd Shanua, an ally of the clan of Abdul-Muttalib, reported, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ led us in two units of prayer, then he stood up without sitting after the two units, and the people stood up with him. When he completed his prayer, he performed two prostrations while seated before giving the closing salutation, and then he gave the salutation."
حدثنا إبراهيم بن أبي العباس حدثنا أبو أويس عن الزهري أن عبد الرحمن بن هرمز الأعرج مولى ربيعة بن الحارث بن عبد المطلب أخبره أنه سمع
أزد شنوءة وهو حليف بني عبد المطلب قال صلى لنا رسول الله ﷺ ركعتين ثم قام ولم يجلس بعد الركعتين فقام الناس معه فلما قضى صلاته سجد سجدتين وهو جالس قبل التسليم ثم سلم
