The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Purification is half of faith. 'Praise be to Allah' fills the scale. 'Glory be to Allah' and 'Praise be to Allah' and 'Allah is greatest' fill what is between the heavens and the earth. Prayer is light. Charity is proof. Patience is illumination. The Quran is either an argument for you or against you. Every person goes out in the morning and sells his soul, either freeing it or destroying it."
