It reached the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that he supplicated for him, "O Allah, send blessings upon Ubayd Abu Malik and raise him above many of the people."

Its isnad is sahih. Habib bin Abdul-Rahman Abu Hafs Al-Himsi is trustworthy, from the Taabieen, and his hadith is found among the group (Bukhari in Al-Adab), and the hadith has already appeared at 19581 from Abu Musa.
