Shahr bin Hawshab narrated to me from Abdul-Rahman bin Ghanem from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. And Asim bin Amr al-Bajali narrated to me from Abu Umama from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. And Saeed bin Musayab narrated to me, or it was narrated to me from him, from Ibn Abbas from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, who said, "By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, people from my nation will spend the night in arrogance, insolence, play, and amusement, and will wake up as monkeys and pigs, because of their treating forbidden things as lawful, their taking of singing slave-girls, their drinking of wine, their consuming of usury, and their wearing of silk."

Its chain is daif because of Farqad Sabakhi, who has already been discussed. He is the one who transmits all three routes, and also because of the unknown status of Abu Ataa Yahburi. Haythami likewise graded it daif, 8/10. It is found in Tabarani's Al-Kabir, 8/306, number 7997. As for Abul-Munib Shami Jarshi, he is trustworthy, and his hadith appears in Abu Dawud.
