Ubada bin Samit reported,

I was among those present at the first pledge of Uqba. We were twelve men, and we pledged allegiance to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ according to the pledge of the women. This was before fighting had been made obligatory.We pledged that we would not associate anything with Allah, that we would not steal, that we would not commit adultery, that we would not kill our children, that we would not bring forth slander that we fabricated between our hands and feet, and that we would not disobey him in what is right.He said, "If you fulfill this, paradise is yours. If you fall into any of it, your matter rests with Allah. If He wills, He will punish you, and if He wills, He will forgive you."

عن عبادة بن الصامت قال

كنت فيمن حضر العقبة الأولى وكنا اثني عشر رجلا فبايعنا رسول الله ﷺ على بيعة النساء وذلك قبل أن يفترض الحرب على أن لا نشرك بالله شيئا ولا نسرق ولا نزني ولا نقتل أولادنا ولا نأتي ببهتان نفتره بين أيدينا وأرجلنا ولا نعصيه في معروف فإن وفيتم فلكم الجنة وإن غشيتم من ذلك شيئا فأمركم إلى الله إن شاء عذبكم وإن شاء غفر لكم
