Abu Umama Bahili reported,

I asked Ubada bin Samit about the spoils of war, and he said, "It was revealed concerning us, the company of the people of Badr, when we disputed over the spoils and our conduct regarding them turned ugly. So Allah took the matter out of our hands and entrusted it to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ distributed it among us on equal terms," meaning equally.

عن أبي أمامة الباهلي قال

سألت عبادة بن الصامت عن الأنفال فقال فينا معشر أصحاب بدر نزلت حين اختلفنا في النفل وساءت فيه أخلاقنا فنزعه الله تبارك وتعالى من أيدينا فجعله إلى رسول الله ﷺ فقسمه رسول الله ﷺ فينا عن بواء يقول على السواء
