A young woman passed by me in Madinah and I grabbed her by the waist. The next morning, the Messenger, meaning the Prophet ﷺ, was taking pledges of allegiance from the people.I came to him, but he refused to take my pledge and said, "The one who grabbed the waist."I said, "By Allah, I will not do it again."So he accepted my pledge.
حدثنا أسود بن عامر حدثنا هريم بن سفيان عن بيان عن قيس
مرت بي جارية بالمدينة فأخذت بكشحها قال وأصبح الرسول يبايع الناس يعني النبي ﷺ قال فأتيته فلم يبايعني فقال صاحب الجبيذة الآن قال قلت والله لا أعود قال فبايعني
Its chain of transmission is sahih. Harim bin Sufyan Bajali is trustworthy, and his hadith is found among al-Jamaah. Bayan is Ibn Bishr, and Qays is Ibn Abu Hazim, and both of them are trustworthy and well-known. The hadith was narrated by Bayhaqi in Dalail 6/306.
