Ata bin Saaib reported,

I was sitting with Abdullah bin Mughafal al-Muzani when two young men from the descendants of Umar came in and prayed two units of prayer after the afternoon prayer. He sent for them, called them over, and asked, "What is this prayer you have just performed, when your father used to forbid it?"They replied, "Ayesha, may Allah be pleased with her, told us that the Prophet ﷺ prayed it at her home."He fell silent and did not respond to them at all.

عن عطاء بن السائب قال

كنت جالسا مع عبد الله بن مغفل المزني فدخل شابان من ولد عمر فصليا ركعتين بعد العصر فأرسل إليهما فدعاهما فقال ما هذه الصلاة التي صليتماها وقد كان أبوكما ينهى عنها قالا حدثتنا عائشة رضي الله تعالى عنها أن النبي ﷺ صلاهما عندها فسكت ولم يرد عليهما شيئا
