He was narrating that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "None of you should come to prayer while needing to relieve himself, nor should he single himself out with something to the exclusion of his companions, nor should he let his eyes enter a house until he has sought permission."When Yazid had finished narrating this, an elderly man said, "He has informed us. I heard Abu Umama narrating this hadith."
حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن مهدي عن معاوية بن صالح عن السفر بن نسير عن يزيد بن شريح أنه سمع
يحدث أن رسول الله ﷺ قال لا يأت أحدكم الصلاة وهو حاقن ولا يخص نفسه بشيء دون أصحابه ولا يدخل عينيه بيتا حتى يستأذن فقال شيخ لما حدثه يزيد أخبرنا سمعت أبا أمامة يحدث بهذا الحديث
